Meet Allison and Anna
Pink LemonAid launched on Plan Canada's Day of the Girl – September 22. Sign our e-petition to get this date officially declared Canada's National Day of the Girl.
On the same day, up at Oriole Park Public School, a 'Mom and Daughter' team showed you don't have to be a celebrity to draw crowds with a Pink LemonAid stand! Mom Allison said their stand in the school playground was swarmed by excited kids, who she said "totally got it" and just couldn't get enough of the lemonade and all the fun giveaways. These included Because I am a Girl tattoos, pencils, buttons and stickers, which all came with their Pink LemonAid kit.
Allison and her six year old daughter, Anna, couldn't believe how easy the kit made it to create a stand and generate immediate buzz. "As soon as people saw the stand, they wanted to come over," said Allison. "It's an amazing way to raise awareness and funds and make a difference for girls across the world. It was SO simple and not at all costly."
Allison and Anna are proving that small actions drive big change. Discover how easy and fun it is to raise funds for girls across the world. Host a Pink LemonAid fundraising stand. It only takes one girl to change the world – and it's so easy to do it, just by selling lemonade. Be the ONE!
