Celebrate the Day of the Girl!

October 11 is the first International Day of the Girl, and we’re celebrating in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square! Get the details below, and find out how YOU can be part of Day of the Girl events all across Canada!
What: A first-ever Day of the Girl celebration, including a concert by our newest Celebrated Ambassador Alyssa Reid, a refreshing Pink LemonAid stand, an interactive art exhibit, and a Because I am a Girl pop-up-shop, so you can wear the cause!
When: Thursday, October 11, 2012. From 5pm to 7pm.
Where: The intersection of Yonge and Dundas, in Toronto, Ontario!
Who: Everyone is welcome! It will be a family-friendly event. Please wear pink, to show your support!
Why: Because thousands of Canadians helped us achieve the International Day of the Girl, and we’d like to celebrate together!
How: Just come on down to Dundas Square at 5pm sharp on October 11!
